Automec Coast One Press Brake Systems
Coast One Electric Press Brakes
Automec, Inc. is a Certified USA Dealer of CoastOne electric press brakes. (servo-electric) Automec handles sales and service for customers in the U.S, as they have been with their back gauge systems for the last 47 years. CoastOne electric press brakes are becoming the future of press brake technology. The technology behind the CoastOne electric press brake is the “direct-drive system,” which uses servo motors directly tied to ball screws to administer force. This capability, in turn, offers an extreme accuracy of 0.000079 inches!
C-Series: 25-50 Ton Electric Press Brakes
C-Series: 25-50 Ton, Electric Press Brake 2.8 Ft. – 5.25 Ft. Bed
The C series are the smallest “fully electric” servo-driven press brakes found in the CoastOne electric press brake line. The C-Series machines feature 1 to 2 ball screws using a “direct drive System” to administer the force. Each ball screw is capable of producing about 25 tons of force. By using these ball screws in a “direct drive system,” it makes our electric press brakes very affordable compared to traditional hydraulic systems. They’re great for companies looking to free up capacity on their larger press brakes by having a compact machine in the shop as well. For average daily use, the C9 machine typically consumes less than 1.5 kW. By eliminating the need for hydraulic oil, the customer benefits by eliminating the cost of expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves, and maintenance found with traditional hydraulic press brakes.
C9 Electric Press Brake (25 Ton, 2.85ft. Bed)
The C9 electric press brake features a single ball screw, which makes it a very affordable investment, but is still capable of bending a vast majority of smaller parts. Its small size allows the operator to sit while working, which ensures a high level of ergonomics. The C9 is a 25ton electric press brake and has a 2.85ft. bed length.
CoastOne’s signature servo driven ball screws make the machine accurate but also very environmentally friendly – in average use, the C9 electric press brake consumes less than 1,5 kW. The lack of hydraulic oil eliminates expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses common to hydraulic press brakes.
C9X Electric Press Brake (25 Ton, 2.85 ft. bed)
The C9’s taller brother provides a larger daylight (opening from tool holder to bottom die holder), compared that of the standard C9 machine. It allows more versatile bending capabilities and tooling options. Besides the added height the C9X is similar to the C9. It allows the operator to sit while working, ensuring a high level of ergonomics.
C12 Electric Press Brake (50 Ton, 4.25 ft. Bed)
The C12 is the big brother of the C9. It provides an extra punch (50 ton force) if you need more force than the 25 tons found with the C9. With 2 ball screws and servos instead of 1, the C12 doubles the capable bending strength. Also it has a longer bed length (4.25 ft.) which allows bending of wider parts.
C12X Electric Press Brake(50 Ton, 4.25 ft. Bed)
C12’s taller brother provides a larger daylight (opening from tool holder to bottom die holder), compared to the standard C12 machine. It allows more versatile bending capabilities and tooling options. Besides the additional height the C12X is similar to the standard C12. It features 2 ball screws and a maximum bending length of 4.25ft
C15 Electric Press Brake (50 Ton, 5.25 ft. Bed)
The C15 is the biggest machine of the C-Series. The C15 features 2 servo driven ball screws, with 50 tons capable force. Its bed length (5.25ft.) allows you to bend a large variety of parts, while still maintaining low operating costs. The C15 is a versatile machine and a practical alternative for a larger press brake.
C15 X Electric Press Brake (50 Ton, 5.25 ft. Bed)
The tallest C-Series machine, the C15X, provides a bigger daylight (opening from tool holder to bottom die holder), compared to the standard machine. It allows more versatile bending capabilities and tooling options. Besides the additional height the C15X is similar to the standard C15. It features 2 ball screws and a bed length of 5.25ft.
G-Series: 60-150 Ton Electric Press Brakes CoastOne Electric Press Brakes
G-Series Electric Press Brakes: 60-150 Ton, 6.9 Ft. – 13.4 Ft. Bed
The G-Series press brakes feature an “O-Frame,” as opposed to the “C-Frame” found in the smaller machines. The “O-Frame” deflects less than the “C-Frame” which is very useful for the higher tonnage and longer length machines. Due to the strategic positioning of the drives, the CoastOne G-Series electric press brakes come standard with an “automatic crowning feature.” Each drive independently varies the force, depending on the position of the material across the press brake bed. Many “electric” competitors do not have this ability because they are using belts and pulleys across the ram, which don’t allow the machines to “pin-point” the force on the ram. Customers will also find HUGE electricity savings compared to traditional hydraulic machines.
G20 Electric Press Brakes (60 Ton, 6.9ft. Bed)
The G20 features an “O-frame” and is a 60 ton machine with a 6.9ft. bed length. It deflects less than a conventional C-frame while still remaining lightweight. The G20 electric press brake has three servo driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously. Due to the servos’ high accuracy, the upper beam can be CNC deflected to “follow” the lower beam seamlessly. It is CoastOne’s unique direct crowning system that will always give you a great bending result. The lack of hydraulic oil also eliminates expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses common to hydraulic press brakes.
G25 Electric Press Brakes (80 Ton, 8.5 ft. bed)
The G25 features an “O-frame” and is an 80 ton 8.5ft. machine. It deflects less than conventional C-frame while still remaining light weight. The G25 electric Press Brake has four servo driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously.
G30 Electric Press Brakes (100 Ton, 10ft. Bed)
The G30 features an “O-frame” and is a 100 ton 10ft. machine. It deflects less than a conventional C-frame while still remaining light weight. The G30 Electric Press Brake has five servo driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously.
G40 Electric Press Brakes (150 Ton, 13.4 ft. Bed)
The G40 features an “O-frame” and is a 150ton 13.4ft. machine. It deflects less than a conventional C-frame while still remaining light weight. The G40 has five servo driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously.
