Coil Handling Equipment - Medium Duty



 

  The Ultra Advantage is the newest generation of our Servo Roll Feed family. It uses the new Ultra 5000 servo drive module from Rockwell Automation which gives Ultra Advantage Servo Feed many new features.

The Ultra 5000's faster processor means quicker scanning and updating in the control. These faster processing speeds allow for shorter progressions to be run at higher press speeds. Multiple Job Storage - Storage for up to 200 jobs is standard. Micro Adjust - New parameters allow for micro adjustment of the feed distance as the feed is running. Back Length - Used in Cut-To-Length or Cut-Off applications, this feature backs the material away from the blade allowing the blade to be raised without lifting the fresh cut edge of the material - particularly useful for thin or delicate material.

 



 

  All lower rolls are driven and top rolls are individually adjustable. Each straightening roll may be adjusted from either side. A roller chain connects the roll adjustment screws to ensure absolute roll parallelism.

 

Entrance support rolls and adjustable guide rolls are standard. Exit rollers support your straightened stock. Options include pneumatic inlet pinch roll release to assist in material threading, and adjustable cascade exit rolls, as well as various sensors.



 

 These high quality reels set the standard for performance and durability in the medium duty market. The reinforced steel coil keepers are individually adjustable with quick release, ratchet locking mechanisms. The spindle is heat-treated alloy steel, precision ground and mounted in oversized tapered roller bearings. Automatic centering of coil I.D. is manually adjusted with a hand crank that provides mandrel expansion.

 

Motorized versions smoothly deliver material to automatic feeding equipment utilizing proportional speed control. Non-Motorized reels have a standard friction brake which is adjustable to prevent material overrun when peripheral equipment is slowed or stopped.
